FREE! Join Jim Babjak and Dennis Diken of The Smithereens for a deep dive Q&A into the band’s 1986 album, ESPECIALLY FOR YOU, hosted by author and professor Ken Womack. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 4 at 7:30PM EST at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ.
The event is FREE and open to the public, but registration is required for the Zoom link or in-person ticket link.
It’s just like a book club but with albums. With new advances in technology, the way we consume music through our devices, apps and on demand streaming services like Pandora, Spotify and iTunes is making the idea of the “album” as an art form extinct. Listen to Especially for You beforehand and then gather with other music enthusiasts to discuss one of our favorite albums of all time.
This event is offered BOTH in person and via Zoom. Join us in person at the GREAT HALL AUDITORIUM on the Campus of Monmouth University or join us via Zoom. After you register, you’ll be provided with either the ticket link or Zoom meeting link.
